American Legend Charger foosball table is a very different table than the previous table. It has a very classic design, with the cabinet sporting a light natural wood color, accompanied by square black legs. This table is much lighter than Kirkwood and slightly smaller than the adult size tables, so even younger kids may be able to enjoy it, but not the youngest ones. My estimate is ten years and older, but the basic rule still applies. It shouldn’t be used by kids whose collar bones are below the rods. The rod handles are not the best on the market, and this type can be uncomfortable for longer use, but aftermarket solid wood handles for half-inch rods are very affordable if you wish to replace them. This table doesn’t come with leg levelers, so it also demands a flat and level surface in the room where it will be placed.
- Classic design
- Good quality
- Legs have cross braces for increased stability
- No leg levelers
- Handles are not very comfortable
While the previous two tables were very square-shaped, the Manhattan is an American Legend foosball table with a dash of art deco and modernistic flair. It comes painted in shades of gray, and may not be suitable for all game rooms, depending on their dominant colors. It is an adult size table, with a full-size 47 by 27 inches play surface. While the previous two tables didn’t have them, this one has leg levelers. They do their job as advertised, but my personal experience is that these small levelers are good only for hard flooring. If you attempt to place the table on a shaggy carpet, you will never manage to level it. The handles are made of some material that I have never seen before, and they are surprisingly comfortable even for a long play. In my experience, even more than the combination of wood handles and wraps.
- Stylish design
- Sturdy build quality
- Very comfortable handles
- Lack of more color options
- Full-size table, not appropriate for kids
Brookdale is a foosball table with a very unusual design. While the shape of the cabinet is very classical, its finishing has the look of reclaimed or distressed wood, while the presence of a lot of black hardware gives it a distinctive barnyard-style look. This look is both its biggest flaw and the strength, as not everyone likes this style and it doesn’t sit well in every interior. On the matter of hardware, this table is a notch above the previous three because it has counterweighted players. The rods are painted black, and surprisingly more pleasant to play in well-lit rooms, compared to stainless ones. A potential drawback of this table is the lack of leg levelers, so the surface where you want to place it needs to be perfectly flat and level.
- High-quality hardware
- Counterweighted players
- Distinctive design
- Sturdy built
- Distinctive design
- Players are unusual and may not appeal to everyone
- No leg levelers
American Legend Kirkwood foosball table is one of the rare few products on the market that dares to go against the custom of foosball table designs. With its reclaimed wood and asymmetrical X-shaped legs, it is a table whose looks you will either love or hate. There is no middle ground with it. It has a full-size playing field, and its height makes it unsuitable for kids younger than 12 years of age. Its build quality is very good, and the very heavy legs make its center of gravity very low, so it’s very stable with its 115 lbs. For additional rigidity, it also has a central one and a quarter-inch brace connecting legs, which is in my opinion an overkill. Legs are also where there is a potential flaw of this table. Their design doesn’t allow for leg levelers, so if you don’t have a perfectly flat and level surface, this table will not be very enjoyable. All in all, this is one excellent American foosball table with a 3-men goalie setup that you will be able to enjoy for years to come.
- Very sturdy build
- Fashionable design
- High hardware quality
- Not appropriate for younger than 12
- Requires perfectly flat and level surface
- The reclaimed wood look may not be to everyone’s taste
American Legend Manchester foosball table is the most classic-looking table on my list. It’s made of a high-quality MDF painted in pleasing natural wood color. Black painted legs are additionally strengthened with a crossbar, so it is a very sturdy and stable foosball table. It comes with oversized leg levelers, so it can be perfectly placed on almost any surface. Another very convenient feature is cup holders mounted on the sides. Though they are not the sturdiest ones, their addition is very welcomed for home use. Rod handles are made of wood and very comfortable, but rods themself are not so much. They are the solid type, and your wrists can very quickly start to tire if you are not a seasoned foosball player.
- Very sturdy
- High-quality rods
- Very comfortable wooden rod handles
- Rods are on a heavier side
- Adult size table
